Life Ban walking and texting

What is with people walking and trying to read something on a smart phone or texting while in public? It happens everywhere I go now. School, work, the supermarket, and every other place I seem to go. People walk into me and act as if I should have noticed them and moved. I'm 6'2' 225, and would assume that a person can see me from a few yards out.

I saw a women in her thirties almost get hit by a car this morning due to walking and texting. A chubby chick was walking down the stairs in front of me today for three flights at a snail's pace while reading an Iphone. It took all I had to not kick her down the stairs, but that's just PTSD issues.

This wasn't a problem until about two to three years ago. Now it's a pandemic. I'm taking a hardline stance from now on and just going to keep trucking. If you run into me, have fun picking yourself up. If you get mad about it (and are a man), have fun picking yourself up a second time.

Chasedude, that was definately the funniest shit I've seen all week. I'm going to start loosening up manhole covers all around Austin as soon as I youtube how to do it.

Yep, but I wished I'd thought about it before moving out of NYC. I'd go to Staten Island (it looks like that's where the video was from), quit my job and run around wearing a cape just setting booby traps.

Staten Island is worse than anything out of NJ.
