Computers More PC buying help: Desktop deals?

Fat Elvis pointed me to the perfect laptop for my wife today, so hopefully I can find a really good desktop.

My desktop is dying a slow death and I'd like to purchase a PC with the following specs:

20+ inch LCD monitor
over 3 GB of Ram
At least a 500 gb HD

Hopefully I can find something in the 500-600 range.

My PC now lasted 7 years so I'd like to get a long time of use out of the new one.

Can anyone point me in a good direction? I've decided to stay away from the Sam's Club offer. GoChiefs pointed me in the direction of building my own, but I think with all the extra added stuff, I don't want to spend that much.
