Trippy. I'd guess that it didn't catch on due to the fact that it would be largely useless on any other surface other than snow, whereas something like a snowcat can still be used on dry ground.

Interesting that they tested it on a chevy in the video.
Pretty cool overall. Somebody could probably do this on their own with timeand tools. It looks like you could remove a tractors wheels attach some mounts for the corkscrews and drive them off the power take-off. It would be a complicated build, especially getting the gearing correct so that you can using the screws, I guess you could do that with a simple breaking system to slow one side or the other so that you could turn... Pretty cool machine though.
