Grew up water skiing. I can still get up on one ski (well I could before I f'd my finger up). You'll have a blast and the kids will form memories that will last a lifetime.

I grew up skiing as well, I remember how much I loved it. Probably my favorite memories of time spent with my father was waterskiing at the family place in Eastern WA.

I grew up skiing. I saved up for a boat once. Then my wife decided she wanted a diamond.

I grew up living on a lake. Ski boat in my back yard. It cost me my professional football career. I could have been an NFL caliber QB, but during my junior year, I decided that tooling around in my boat, skiing all day, picking up bimbos at the dock was a lot more appealing than showing up for two-a-days.
I could have been a contender! Okay, I actually sucked at football, and I played D-end, not QB. But the rest is true.

Looked it up, nice boat.
Didn’t say what motor it has but the options for that year were a 330 Horse and a 505 Horse motor so I’d assume the 330 Horse is a small block V-8 and the 505 Horse is a big block. When you go to look at it get down and look closely at the engine block a couple of inches above the oil pan. Look both sides of the block from front to back and what you’re looking for is any crack at all. It might appear as a thin line with a little rust along it. This means that the motor wasn’t properly winterized, some water was left in the block, it froze, expanded and it cracked the block. Go ahead, ask me how I know.

It is a buyers market on boats right now, how big is the Malibu? We had 7 boats, and I was the poster child for "1 foot itus." The last one was by far the nicest, you might enjoy this thread. |

I grew up skiing, my dad always had ski boats. Used to have a place at the lake, but he sold it along with his 2004 24 ft Crownline. Great boat. I sure miss it. But my friends parents got almost the exact same boat, so we go out on that. I've been skiing since I was about 5-6 yrs old. I can slalom ski like a son of a gun, but I can't wakeboard for shit. I can get up and go straight, thats about it. HAHA |

I was between car toys, so I spent about $4 grand hopping that thing up, the quest for 70, really stupid of me. The guy that bought it, is still thrilled with it, last time he called me. It was the only one I ever lost money on. |

I love boating, but more the kind where I sit with a nice wide brimmed hat, drink ice cold beer, drown a minnow, and listen to a Royals game.

The cracked block was actually about three years ago. After fixing that it’s been hull problems. He thinks the trailer may be tearing it up since it wasn’t made for his boat and it’s right where the center rollers are that the hull keeps cracking.

No boat right now, but I have owned a 82 ski nautique, 99 Mastercraft Prostar 205v, and 02 Mastercraft X-star.
I used to ride every day during the summer for about 6 years. The last 2 boats were Vdrives, and if you wakeboard, that is defintely the way to go. The layout is so much friendlier and the wake so much better. Hope it has perfect pass, if not make that your very first investment.
