If we trade down to take Terrence Cody then I just might burn all my Chiefs gear on Thursday night.

I like Cody more than some people on the board. I think he'd be a good pick if we were in the 20's. But there's no way I want to trade out of this top 5.

I think he would be a perfect fit for the Chiefs' and would be willing to give up a 4th or 5th to make sure I could get him with the Chiefs' 2nd pick. |

did you even read his post?...or were you agreeing with him?
I would love to hear Romeo Crennels "real" thoughts on the kid. I think he is a classic boom or bust prospect that Pioli clearly said he doesn't like. I actually question if he is even on our "short board" |

If Cody is there at 2A, there is no reason no to take him.

Maybe Terrence Cody Will Make It To The Chiefs After All
by Joel Thorman on Apr 19, 2010 12:30 PM PDT in 2010 Draft 30 comments, 30 new More photos » Mark J. Terrill - AP Browse more photos » I've previously expressed a concern about the Chiefs picking defense with the 36th pick in the draft. That's because of the eight teams between picks 22-29, seven play a 3-4 defense. That means those scheme-specific players could go on a run late in the first round. One of those players is Alabama NT Terrence Cody, one of the few true nose tackles in all of the draft. However, it's possible Cody isn't snagged at one of those positions, according to a poll of various personnel men by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. When 20 national-oriented scouts were asked to rank their favorite defensive tackles on a 1-to-5 basis, Ndamukong Suh led with 15 1/2 firsts and 95 1/2 points compared to Gerald McCoy's 4 1/2 firsts and 84 1/2 points. Following, in order were Dan Williams (48), Brian Price (30), Jared Odrick (29), Tyson Alualu (nine), Cody (two), Linval Joseph (one) and Al Woods (one). And Todd Haley's fitness plan? Well, Cody would be the slowest defensive tackle drafted in 20 freakin' years. I'm intrigued by the guy because so few play his position but these numbers are definitely an eye-opener.
