Looking at selling my truck....tips and pointers welcome.
I have a 2003 Chevy S-10 that I'm going to be putting up for sale around the middle of June. I'm going to try and sell it first and then if I don't get any takers....I'll probably end up trading it in for a bigger vehicle (twins will do that to you).
Any tips or pointers you guys can give me? It has 64,000 miles on it....is it worthwhile to take in for the 60,000 mile tuneup? Or would that be a waste? Anything else that I'm not thinking of? |

Hand a nice nugget to a crackhead and tell him to detail the hell out of your truck.

just as well trade it in for one of these, along with your Man Card and Automobile Pride. |

Low miles, shouldn't have a problem selling it. I'd do the 60k and keep the recipt, (as a selling point) on gm cars the 60k includes:
Plugs Air-filter Oil/filter Tranny service Alignment Rotate/balance Normal checkup. It will cost you around 4-500 bucks in Cali I'm sure, but if the buyer knows that its been taken care of and the reason why your selling it, it just makes it that much easier. If you end up trading it in, don't bother with the service, just have the oil changed and be done with it. Just my .02. Posted via Mobile Device |

I'd put it up for 8500 and take around 8000. I don't think you'll have a problem.
