Trade offer...

My team is just brutal in this one league right now.

I was just offered:

Flacco, DeSean Jax and Marshawn Lynch for Tom Brady.

I have Ben coming back next week.

My current RBs are MJD, Shonn Greene, Hightower (so nothing great)

My receivers are Maclin, Steve Smith (NYG) again nothing world beating.

What are your thoughts on this? I'm not a fan of having both Maclin and DJax, but I need some help.

I would be dropping 2 backup defensive players that I have no use for right now. Then when I need someone, I'd just cut Tolbert.

This team has turned really awful due to my RBs being worthless.

Essentially, it's Flacco and DeSean for Brady and I say "Hell Yes".

Brady / Ben
MJD / Green / Hightower
Maclin, Steve Smith

or

Flacco / Ben
MJD / Green / Hightower / Lynch
DeSean / Maclin / Steve Smith

I don't think you're dropping off huge at QB, plus you have Ben returning and you add instant offense with DeSean.

You can then flip Maclin ... Maybe Maclin/Lynch for another WR.

I would probably do it since Jackson is a serious home-run threat kind of fantasy player. He can win games for you. Plus Vick seems to like him. Big Ben will be fine when he comes back. I don't think it will be too much of a drop off from Brady.

Honestly...I love Vick...I do I do I do...but I still don't trust the "weapons"...

It's 50/50...and I don't know enough about IDP leagues to make any advice...

but Big Ben and Tom Brady are a push so you're basically adding DJax for free so I guess I'd do it.

I'll wait to hear back from him before I accept this other offer.

Remember that Ben is back next week, but they're on a bye and he won't be back until Week 6.

Hmmm.. dunno if I really like that one at all. Addai has been pretty blech... I think you could get more for Brady and the others. Although, Greene is pretty weak right now. Clayton's value is inflated, so I agree with moving him while he's hot. But, I don't know that I really like this deal for you.

I offered the other guy Brady, Clayton and Greene for Jon Stewart and Moss. I think Stewart is going to get a lot of carries moving forward.
