All you need is some WD-40, a pack of matches and more bravery (stupidity?) than I have.

You wouldn't have this problem if you left the blower parked in your living room.

I use to get some at TSC, worked great for tractor tires when brush-hogging.

I’ve seen guys do the flammable liquid trick, and it is cool when done right, but there are a dozen or so things that can go wrong injuring you, a bystander, and/or permanently ruining your gear (blowing out tire, cracking rim).
I’ll stick with a ratchet strap and air compressor.

I was having the same problem and I used everything from WD40 to spray paint to blow the bead on the rim, but you have to have your compressor ready to inflate the tire or it just comes off the bead again. You have to be careful and not get crazy with the accelerant, but it's probably not the most dangerous thing you've ever done.
Consequently, I did order a tube for it but the issue turned out to be just a bad valve stem. I simply put a new cap on it and it's been fine ever since. I need to get a valve stem tool to tighten the valve. |
