Free agent wish list.

We have threads popping up everywhere about certain free agent visits. I thought this could be a cool thread idea.

Now that we have some ideas about certain free agents out there that we may be looking at or that would make sense for the Chiefs, make up your wish list.

Mine is

Soliai
Winston
Orton ( Rich Gannon )
Tolbert
Carlson

EDIT: Who has signed elsewhere that you wish the Chiefs would have targeted?

Meyers
Winston
Soliai

Ill take Carlton and Hillis.

Draft the middle LB from Boston college

Line will be Albert Hudson Meyers Asamoa Winston

Defense would be scary with some depth added at safety. Especially if we somehow were to keep Carr.

This buys us some freedom in the draft.

DeCastro/Kuechly
Fleener
whatever later, prefer safety, QB, and OLB.

Honestly

Soliai and Winston

For a man who preaches trenches come first, Scott Pioli needs to sign these two. Sure another running back is great, as well as an outside pass rusher, but you take those two guys and put them in on our lines and both become legitimate right away. With those two signed you can go in any number of directions at 11 in the draft; trade down, Dontari Poe for bigger defensive power, an Olineman to strengthen the protection, Trent Richardson (if he falls that is), a wide reciever/ return specialist that can bring our mediocre return game up a notch. Those two are the building blocks though so I'm encouraged that I've heard about the Winston visit as well as our interest in Soliai.

Without Payton Manning we need to strengthen the team and accept the QB situation as something we'll address another time. You never know who's gonna become a free agent, aka be traded, aka fall into our lap, the stronger the team the more willing the big time QB will be willing to sign with us. You just never know.

Yeah it is quite amazing that we still haven't found a solution to NT, or really even tried outside of Powe.
