Even with the lockout, I can't believe those 3 would be slacking on conditioning during the off-season. While conditioning may have played a part in it, I think it is just the worst luck possible.

I didn't know if maybe it was because of the lack of off season, but you are right...those guys would have still been conditioning

It was gone before he hit the mascot - you could see him reach for it.

I'm not going to draw conclusions, but I know it takes football play to be football conditioned and our squad took the pre-season off.

Call it bad luck if you want, but there's nothing that can prepare a body for the awkward cuts and movements that come from playing football other than playing football.

Perhaps we should've considered doing that when the rest of the league was instead of starting 3 weeks later. I can't help but think it might have helped.
