Chiefs Do you want/think the GMs should talk to the fans through the media?

suddenly hearing all this about how GM's from the Parcell tree aren't talking to the media and that hurts their performance.

Now of course the media is going to want the GM's to talk to them, it's their job. Not talking to the media pisses them off and takes their 'power'.

I understand the media PR push to attack these GM's but what about the fans?

Do you want the GM to talk about it, or just do it.

This is not about what they do because talking doesn't change anything, it's about whether they talk about it or not.

As long as professional teams receive tax money from the locals, all team employees should be held publicly accountable for their decisions.

One thing I liked about Pioli when he came here was how he made it clear that the head coach would be the face/voice of the team, not the GM.

I wasn't a big Carl Peterson hater like many others but I got sick and tired of seeing his mug on TV and hearing his voice on the radio.

I voted "No" because there's wasn't an "I don't care" option. It doesn't matter to me how the team goes about it's public relations activities as long as they successfully convince me that the team is either winning or moving in the right direction. So far this year, they've failed in that regard.

That's how I feel. Same thing with coach press conferences. They're a bore. Non answers, talking like they're half asleep, spouting cliches. It's a waste.

Only he tells the coach what he can and can't say. If you're going to send a puppet up there, what's the point? I hate the cloud of secrecy around the team. You're hurting the fans more by keeping them in the dark than you are helping the team by keeping worthless information from the other team.
