Tampa Bay Rays
Something to think about is that if Tampa Bay gets through the wild card round they will stand almost zero chance of moving on. Sunday they played in Toronto. Today they play in Arlington, Texas. If they win they play in Cleveland Wednesday and will have used their top two pitchers. If they get through that then Friday they will be in Boston. Silver lining is that Price would be available for game 2 with 4 days rest.

Right now they're up 4-2 in the top of the 8th.

Tampa is actually very supportive of the team, but their park is in a horrible location. Their merchandise sells very well locally. They just can't get anybody to the park.

Who are they going to lose to, Cleveland? The Indians made a habit out of beating up on the worst teams in baseball. Sadly they won't have the Twins, White Sox, Astros etc.... to play in the playoffs. The Rays should handle Cleveland easily.

Not exactly true. The regular season is not fair to everyone. But........... in the playoffs its the "hot" team on that day or series that wins, not the best team over the 162 game season.

Possibly, but Cleveland is just not good against good teams. They are the classic stats padders.

Baseball changed the rules when the wild cards started winning all too often. 2002 Angels, 2003 Marlins, 2004 Red Sox, 2011 Cardinals all won the World Series in the last decade or so. 2005 Astros, 2006 Tigers, 2007 Rockies all made it to the World Series.
