I don't want to make a huge deal of it, but this team's mental toughness is admirable

We all saw it with the comeback from the 1-5 start last year. Well, the first half today was ****ing ugly. Chiefs fans everywhere had given up. Alex Smith DIAF threads were being created, even us guys in the chat had given up hope.

The Chiefs just kept moving forward though. There's certainly some negatives to take way from this game....but the mental toughness was certainly on display.

Kudos to the Chiefs.

I thought the second half was a lost cause. Even when we got the ball back with a couple minutes to play, I wasn't sure.

Last year that Broncos loss killed our momentum. Complete opposite happened today and we never gave up.

We looked like the Royals in the 2nd half today

I still had very little faith going in to OT. It wasn't until the Chiefs were in the redzone did I realize that the Chargers were beat mentally.

....and I don't want to make an entire thread about it, but **** Addai. That dude is ****ing dirty. He's the one that had the dirty hit on DAT last year, he hurt someone from another team with a cheap shot last year. He had the head to head on Maclin today, AND he's the one that yanked Ware by the face mask on Ware's last run. What a ****ing dirtbag.

It's overlooked due to some weaknesses, but Reid is a damn good head coach.

I agree. I believe multiple players have mentioned him immediately when this topic is brought up as well.

Hate to say it, but this is probably true, he was a one man wrecking crew today, he had Peters so spun around that he didnt know up from down... they had to yank him just so he could compose himself
