Chiefs odds: Vegas sets over/under at 9 wins for Kansas City
https://arrowheadaddict.com/2017/05/...ns-over-under/
Chiefs odds: Vegas sets over/under at 9 wins for Kansas City by Matt Conner5d ago The current Las Vegas odds have the over/under on wins at 9 for the 2017 NFL season for the Kansas City Chiefs. Wondering how sports bettors, or those who set the odds, are seeing the Kansas City Chiefs these days? Look no further than the current over/under for wins for the 2017 regular season, which is currently set at 9. For those looking to take the under, the Chiefs face a much tougher schedule in 2017 than they did a year ago, beginning with a road game against the New England Patriots and including the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants and, of course, the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders twice each. The Chiefs also failed to really add much in the way of new talent that would bolster roster holes made evident from last year. Inside linebacker is still a problem. They also didn’t add a corner. They brought in Bennie Logan, but it’s a wash with the loss of Dontari Poe. Each of their top draft picks could be considered a project, a player who is unlikely to have any real impact in the first year. Last edited by TLO; 05-08-2017 at 08:13 PM.. |

Nine? How tough is their schedule? Nine wins seems like a pretty modest ambition.

The Chiefs were one of the luckiest teams in NFL history last year, won about three games they definitely should have lost, and opposing teams aren't going to be surprised by Tyreek Hill anymore.
The team didn't really get better in the offseason, so nine wins seems generous. |

Nine wins seems reasonable. The team could anywhere from 8-8 to 11-5, depending on how the ball bounces

I'd take the over, honestly. 9 seems awfully low.

The Chiefs won three or four games purely on incredible combinations of luck.
ATL - a pick six, a pick two, a touchdown on a goddamn fake punt CAR - a pick six and a late turnover shoving our worthless QB into FG range DEN - a kick returned for a TD, and a miraculous doink. Then there was the improbable "Greatest Comeback In Chiefs History." SD Now add in yet another kick returned for a TD to basically win that second Oakland game. That's a shit ton of luck that probably isn't repeatable. See the 1995 Chiefs. |
