Have always loved DJ. True defensive FB player like the chiefs I grew up with. Unfortunately past his prime.

I love DJ but he is too old and slow to play anymore. He can't get to the edge. Stop the run. Cover the TE or RB in pass coverage.
Nothing to do with DJ's talent, training or passion. He has been a great player but no one can stop getting old.

It was a pleasure seeing the old DJ make an appearance today, however this year it seems pretty apparent that he has lost too much to play after this season. Plus Veach seems to have helped address the gaping hole at MLB with Ragland and KPL.

Really it's says a lot about him that he can even play at the level he is now after blowing out both achilles in his 30s.

One of the very few times I watched the draft and felt 100% satisfied after the Chiefs made their first pick. And he absolutely lived up to my hype.

I will miss him once he's done. He's one of the GOAT Chiefs.

He has a few more sticks like that left. That was a thing of beauty and reminded me why he's my 2nd favorite Chief ever, 2nd only to the great Mr. Willie Lanier.

One day I'll be at Arrowhead with my grandkids and I can say "Back in my day Denver had a smug, extremely punchable-faced QB named Jay Cutler. Derrick Johnson knocked his dick so far into the dirt one game that his foreskin's probably still buried there"
