Not sure I've ever seen a draft as bad as the Bears...

Havent formed my own opinion on every team, but the Reuter guy over at NFL.com pretty much gave every single team an A this morning... a tough cookie, that one

I think the Browns did very well for once. Beefed up some holes on their team, didn't reach for a QB and still landed one of the consensus top 5 guys with a 2nd round pick. - A
SF did surprisingly well. Beefing up that defense again with two top 10 talents in the 1st in Thomas and Foster while gaining a 2nd and 3rd round pick in the 2018 draft. They're set up for a year where there will actually be QBs who are truly worth trading up for. - A Raiders had the best draft in the division, hate to say it. They may have done enough this off-season to push their way to #1 in the AFC West with impact players added to their secondary. Vanderdoes also helps them a lot with their interior. Obi minimizes the importance of a MLB for them due to his size and athleticism, he's going to be the one covering TEs for them and he has the skills and physicality to pull it off at an elite level.- A Packers did well improving their defense in order to help them get back over the hump. I still feel like they need to improve their OL for Rodgers' sake. - B+ Chargers also did a pretty solid job with getting Rivers all of the help that he needed on offense. Those two guards and the WR are going to make a huge difference for them. - C+ Broncos had a "meh" draft. Worst in the division which is always nice to see. - D |
