Anybody score a particulary good deal today?
No way I'm leaving the house on Black Friday. But I did do some cyber shopping today. I'm in the AV biz, and my company is gifting me a 75" 4K Panasonic display that we pulled out of a school. It's less than a year old. They didn't want it because "it was broken" and they just bought a replacement. Asked us to haul away the "broken one". It just needs a new power supply. So I should be bringing that home before the playoffs start. I needed to upgrade my home theater receiver. I have had both Yamaha and Denon, and today I snagged a Denon AVR-X3500H unit. It's a 2018 model, usually around a grand. Got it Black Friday on Amazon for $549, 18 months no interest. I've got good quality speakers at home (7.1 surround and sub) all Polk Audio stuff. Replacing a Yamaha 7.1 that's probably six or seven years old now. The new TV is going to be massive in the front of my cozy living room. Wowza!

Last week I bought a Garmin Echomap plus 93sv fish finder from Gander outdoors for $569.

Those things are normally 999 and can be found for 850 if you look so I got a great deal. Now I'll have two on the boat and I bought the livescope system to go with it.

Any place I fish now the fish are just screwed. Even if they won't bite I can net their ass.

they can run but they can't hide.
