Aw, C'mon. Every Raider fan in the Bay Area was hopping up and down after Brown's spectacular game-winning HUGE catch. The Battle of the Bay was a big deal in my neighborhood. Some folks displayed 9er flags in front of their homes, some had Raider banners. I could hear the Raider neighbors whooping when Brown made that catch. Tim has won big games before, and was characteristically professional in his lack of celebration. Gruden is young, intense, and only the OT win in KC last year had similar emotion throughout.
He's a damn good coach, Al Davis will not "fire him on a whim," and he will show his emotions. Raider play has been inconsistant so far this year. They have yet to play well every quarter in a game. When they play well, they kick a$$ (see Indy). Here's to them playing 4 quarters in KC. |
