I don't think Cooks belongs in the top 5. Yeah, I said it.

Fun topic!

I absolutely hate McCarron. He will be a Brody-Croyle-esque mess in the NFL. I'd probably have Brett Smith of Wyoming as my 5th QB. Quote:
I do like Freeman a ton, though. Quote:

I think Yankey should be so much better than Su'a-Filo, but his measurables spook me. Quote:
Martin's really the only center worth a damn here, though Richburg does have upside. I absolutely hate Stork, who I think is one of the most overrated players in this draft. |

Nice reply Direkshun. I disagree on the McCarron v. Brokie Croyle type comparison. I think McCarron is head-and-shoulders a better QB than Croyle was coming out. I'm not saying he'll be awesome, but I give McCarron a better shot at becoming a future starter than Croyle by a long shot. I'm actually most surprised nobody has said anything about my ranking of Bortles, whom I don't like at all really.
I also disagree on Sims. I think you have to look at his game like a Matt Forte or even much like Jamaal Charles or a Marshall Faulk. He's not going to be a pounder, but he can make people look like fools in space. You also have to get the ball in his hands 4 times a game in the air because he is a very good receiving back. He's a guy that will get you 1600 yards a year by getting 1100 on the ground and 500 in the air. I'd say Forte is the closest comparison I could give though in terms of ability and size. Incredible decisiveness and balance for a back. I agree on the center class, but I like Stork more than you do. I think Kerin could be a huge surprise if he stays at the position, but much like Swanson he'd probably be better served moving over to guard. |

I don't think there's much of a comparison at all between him and McCarron. McCarron can probably be a backup for 10 years in the league. He's probably not a long-term starter but he's good enough to be a solid backup for a long time. |
