I'm still in favor of Berry and Abdullah. Parker for a breather when necessary. How does Parker do as a nickelback?

What I do like is that Abdullah was a nice pickup and he's versatile. He can do the in the box run support and blitzing like Berry does, and he covers well.
I know Berry is strong in run support, but plenty of people mentioned Berry was a ballhawk in Tennessee when he was playing deep and roaming around. Could they use Abdullah in the SS role and let Berry roam the secondary at FS? |

You can play all 3 when you run a 2-3-6.
However, if you're Exoter or Blackbob you'll need to subtract one player or add one.

We'll bitch and complain that he's not worth resigning and that he's replaceable by Ron Parker the moment he gets beat in coverage.

Considering the rash of Achilles injuries combined with Berry's tendonitis in his heel that may have helped lead to his high ankle sprain...i think it's safe to say that the Chiefs won't bring him back in until he's REALLY ready to go.
....Better than blowing out yet another Achilles.

So far this years safeties have played as well as any set of safeties I can remember us trotting out for quite some time.
I think they need Berry to compliment what's already working rather than reinvent the wheel. |
