Gladiator 2018 - Round 1, Match 21 - Superturtle versus Renegade
Vote for the person that you think would win this match in a battle to death or submission. As background, assume that prior to the tournament you received 10 minutes of training on every weapon. The time listed is the amount of time before the match where you learn what the weaponry and venue is. All participants are handed their weapons at t=0 unless stated otherwise.

Venue - An operating room with angry scalpel-wielding doctors and nurses all screaming at you to leave
Starting Distance - 20 feet

Superturtle

Main Weapon - Baseball Bat
Backup Weapon - Hedge Clippers

Prep Time - 6 Minutes
Special Factors - A jaded prostitute who believes you owe her money will be released into the arena 60 seconds into the match. She has a baseball bat.

Renegade

Main Weapon - Net and trident
Backup Weapon - None

Prep Time - 13 Minutes
Special Factors - None

Don't underestimate the baseball bat. Throw the hedge clippers at him or throw them in the trash, they are worthless. The trident may have a little reach, but he can close and deflect. Maybe he takes a puncture wound in the arm or leg, but if he connects to the head with the bat it is game over. Just gotta get it from the whore.
