He certainly seems to be developing a knack for the dramatic when the money is on the table. For many moons we've all come to expect that "Oh jeez - here we go again" dread, but the past three games have been wonderfully pleasant surprises. But if we spot the Rams 15 penalties, we'll get our fannies handed to us, and even the comeback kid won't be able to fix that.
Nice article, Pam. |

Well, he's got quite a way to go before you can throw him up there with Staubach, Elway or Marino ... but, he's looked good.
I have to admit that I'm amazed that the rookies are seeing action. Who da thunk it? |

Brad,
I haven't seen anyone drop any HOF names except you (I know you aren't trying to be confrontational). I think Pam is talking about Harbaugh, who got a bit of the Captain Comeback reputation in the mid-90's. |

KPhobia... I just replied thinking that those associations *might* be the next step from somebody on the BB. That's all.
Yeah - it used to pi$$ me off when they would call Harbaugh 'Captain Comeback'. Whatever! If he was 'Captain Comeback', then Elway was King of all Comebacks and Staubach was General of all Comebacks. That's all... |

After listening to the boos that rained down on Elvis in the Indy game and after the INT in the SD game, I was very happy to see the guy holding the sign "Elvis for President" and if I'm not mistaken, I didn't hear him booed once the other night...
The tide has turned...if ALL the Chiefs fans get behind him...well, he may be very good... I wear my #18 jersy with pride and am happy to say I've been a Grbacker from day one... Kphobia, I wore my #11 jersey up to the time I got the #18...now I have the #11 jersey hanging on my wall next to my Bono jersey...of course to offset the absurdity of having a Bono jersey on my wall, I also have DTs jersey....

May I recommend that you hold a ceremony for the burning of Bono's jersey wilst chanting the names of Lin Elliot & Steve Blono?

Kloster, #13 is my lucky number, that's the only reason I have the jersey on my wall...believe me...the name is against the wall where no one can see it...
Pam, I don't have a Stoyo jersey, but if I have a burning ceremony, I'll go by one... ------------------ joe "The word "genius" isn't applicable in football. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein." -Joe Theisman, NFL football quarterback and sports analyst |
