The Rest of the Season...

It is obviously time to throw in the towell now.

Time to go to LJ and say, son, you have the rock the rest of the season. It is time to prove your #1 Draft status.

Defense, it is time to sit your sorry asses down and let the yonger kids get some reps. I mean, you suck such horrible ass that the Patriots could have just as easily ran out the clock on our goal line if they wanted too, but Belichick has too much class and a real defense, so he didn't have to. None of you are going to be back next year anyways, and the way you all play, I don't think their will be much interest in anyone taking you off the waivers. So take a long last look at an NFL football field from the bench. Its not so bad, at least your game checks will cash because we raised ticket prices, and there is no chance that they will bounce.

Priest, it just isn't worth it my man. You obviously have more heart than the entire 11 men on the Defense and it is a team sport after all, so there is no since putting you in a wheel chair over a 5 and 11 season. Go ahead and take the rest of the year off, you and only you have earned it.

Trent, you are good, but with out Priest back there handling the rock, making your play action fakes look awesome, you are a slightly above average QB at best. Your penchent to fug it on the goal line this year is utterly amazing and my hats off to you for at least not quitting and putting up valiant yet feeble attempts at the end of the games this year. I mean, it seams like this entire season has been 3rd and long and I don't mean 3rd and 8.

O line, if you take any more false starts at home, I mean fug, you are suppose to get that chit worked out in preseason. WTF is it with you guys this year? Same QB, same OL except for RT, so WTF IS IT WITH YOU GUYS anyway?

DL, I hate to confess this, but you are the lone bright spot this year. You have improved vastly at stopping the run, but we dont' even want to talk about the secondary, I think Iowanian has a good term for the secondary, the suck baows. We are illegal proceedure on the O, and offsides on the D. There is a reason that the Patriots are winning. They don't turn the ball over, and they don't commit stupid penalties.

That's all for now, I think I'll go have a beer.

I have been a Chiefs fan all my life, since 1970, and as such, I believe I have earned the right, suffering fools all through the 70's and most of the 80's to say this: FUG the 2004 Chiefs.

I will still root for you, because I can't help it, but only on TIVO so if you star sucking ass, I can lesson the amount of time I waste sweating your sorry shitty asses this year.

I will be pulling for the Steelers to fug everyone up this year, becuase I am sick of Mannings, and Belichicks, and the fuggin Brady Bunch was over in fuggin 1974 for cripes sakes.

I think we should put the best 22 men on the field to win. Period.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

if we aren't going to sign Blaylock then LJ needs to start the rest of the games.

Trent is barely above average? uh, yeah......if it weren't for him we'd be getting smoked by 30 week in and week out....no QB is perfect, the difference is we can't afford any mistakes because our D is so sorry

Trent had 400 yards and another 100 Qb rated game, even with Morton and Kennison dropping bombs...

Sad thing is that in the time it takes to turn this around our O line, Priest, and Green will be gone. It's not going to happen next year, we hurt in too many positions.

But he HAS been fuggin it up on the goal line lately.

Perhaps if he had Randy Moss he would have 500 yards per game.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, next to Priest, he has the most heart on the team, and I will take heart over talent any day.

He just has been making some bad decisions at critical times all year.

Remember him trying to make a play against the Broncos in game one and losing 25 yards when the decision should have been to throw it out of bounds.

I don't want to argue over Trent, but he definitely is not in the Dan Marino echelon of QB's.

no one said he was Dan Marino..you said he was barely above average....I'm point out that he's been a top 5 QB for 3 years now with the worst D in the history of the league..every mistake he makes is amplified because half our team is compose of reeruns.

May as well give LJ the ball and get some value for him or find out what we have, Blaylock didn't do shit tonight, who knows it may have been him or the D.

Some will call me a "traitor" for saying this, but I say....

beginning NEXT week, for the next six weeks, play the youngsters; test your marginal players; sit your "starters" for much of the game....the season is over. Why risk injuries on meaningless snaps.

Let's find out what we have, what we need, and what we have that we need to get rid of....

CP needs to be GONE; most of the "D" needs to be GONE, and some of the old guys on "O" ought to be looked at.

Let's not "rebuild;" let's re-load, and kick the NFL's azz, NEXT year...

It was the Patriots D.

We shoud have said fug it to the run early. At least passing a lot, not a lot of clock woud have ran out, and we may have had more chances to score.

Realistically, the only way we could have won that game is if the Pats would have given us a couple of picks or fumbles. They gave us one, and it made it closer than it was.

My point was, that we are already playing some younger guys that aren't worth a chit. Bartee, Battle, Mitchell, Sims are all playing. Who is left that has any potential - Fox & Siavii, maybe. Harts is already playing, and so is Sapp. I think the point is, that are younger guys are getting a chance, but they are making a difference either. JMHAssessment
