He's a serviceable corner. He'll make a good #2, or a great nickle corner. Also, I would say he is an above average tackler for a corner. He'd be a good signing for the minimum, with around a 3.5 mil bonus.

People around here like to bitch about how he gets burned, but what corner not named Deion doesn't? I think we might actually miss him this year, provided Carl sits on his fat ass all off season and doesn't bring anyone in to take his place.

the patriots sign Warfield they will take him and put him into more of a safety situation where he should of been from day 1.

I think he's solid, if not spectacular. He usually does a good job staying tight on his man, but isn't great at making a play on the ball.

He's a very solid #2 CB, and probably an upgrade over any CB the Patriots currently have on their roster. I'd say he's easily better than Ellis Hobbs.

You're stoned. Hobbs played like shit this year, he just had the benefit of New England's pas rush.

Warfield certainly sucked more in his early years, But he's better than Hobbs and probably better than Samuel.

He will have a tough time finding a new job. As I understand it, under the new CBA if a player is suspended then the team can only go after his game day checks, not his signing bonus. Warfield is one slip-up away from missing an entire year. Teams will want the protection of getting back his Signing bonus if he falls off the wagon. If they can't get that protection, they won't give him a decent bonus. He may be stuck looking for a team that will pay him more in base salary or incentives.

I don't think Warfields ankle tackling really is what most teams look for in a free safety.

He is an above average CB, took him a few years to get there, but he is better then a lot of the CB's out there.
