Ok... MI2 sucked, but MOSTLY because Tom Cruise decided to tell John Woo how to direct, and he insisted in a love story. If Cruise knew SHIT about Woo's work, he'd know that Woo can't do romance. Combine Woo's style with Tom Cruise and you have a misfire on all cylinders.

This director (only ever did some LOST episodes) might do it right... I have to say I'm intrigued, if for no other reason that Phillip Seymour Hoffman can do no wrong in my book...
