Correction: Broncos have moved down in this years draft!

I didn't think they would move up until the day of the draft. If it's true, why #3? Mario Williams?

Gotta be Leinert.

If this is true they moved ahead of all the likely places for Leinert to land. One pick ahead of the Jets. Titans moving down. Only the Saints who just brought in Brees, and the Texans who will select Bush will be ahead of them.

Broncos | Two draft picks acquired from 49ers
Wed, 19 Apr 2006 09:39:07 -0700

The Denver Broncos have announced the team has acquired a second-round pick (No. 37 overall) and a third-round pick (No. 68) in the 2006 NFL Draft from the San Francisco 49ers. In exchange for the picks, Denver sends San Francisco one of their two first round picks, No. 22 overall.

No way they are getting to #3 w/out the 15th and that 22nd pick.

I hope it is Leinert. Trading ahead of the Jets suggest it might be Williams. Hopefully the Saints take him, just in case. Of course, the Donks could always take Ferguson, which would suck too...

Great news. I'd just sat down at work and had the radio on ESPN radio...'bout fell out of my chair. This deal would ensure they are not going to move into the top ten!

I'm convinced I heard it wrong or it was read wrong on air, because the trade partner was San Francisco. Third round not third pick...
