How's your 2007 New Year's Resolution(s) going so far?

So, 43 big red X's on the 2007 calendar so far, let's take a quick inventory on how many planeteers have made resolutions, what they were, and how you're doing on them so far.

Mine, was to cut down on alcohol consumption and ride my bike more.

43 days without a drop of alcohol. That's the longest I've gone without the debil's syrum in 20 years. My goal is to go 100 days at least. I lost 8 lbs. so far as a result.

And, my other resolution to ride my bike at least a 100 days in 2007: I've ridden it 8 days, off to a slow start, but I just bought a new bike and that thing ROCKS! Nothing like a little motivation.

How you guys holdin' out?

Mine was to run 4 miles in 22 minutes by the end of the year (average of 5:30 per mile for you mathematically challenged folks).

I'm doing alright, I guess. I can do 2 miles in 12 minutes, but after that, I have to slow down to about an 8 minute per mile pace. Not too bad, in reality, but not where I'd like to be.

My goal is to extend the 6 minute per mile pace by one lap per week until I get all 4 miles, then drop 15 seconds off of one lap at a time until I get to 23 total minutes, and then drop another 15 seconds per lap per week until I get to 22.

I may have to accelerate that schedule, though, because I'm not sure if I'll run out of time before the end of the year or not.

New Years' resolution was basically to stop drinking so much soda and try and lose a bit of weight.

I've been doing great with the less soda thing. But I haven't dropped much. Just a few pounds. I haven't gotten any exercise this year though, so I should probably start hitting the gym if I want to do any better.
