He's trying to 'sell high' on a guy that's really not a fluke. McLouth is a good player, not as good as he's been this week, but a good one nontheless. If you have any sort of replacement for Greene, I'd take McLouth over him every time. SS is not as scarce as it has been in years past, so the fact that he plays SS is pretty much irrelevant. I'd imagine Yunel Escobar is still on your waiver wire. Make the deal, pick up Yunel and don't think twice about it. |

We only start one shortstop and I have Jimmy Rollins. So position is irrelevant considering this player will be filling my utility player position.
