8 teams.....that's like a talent fire-sale. Good Christ, the worst team in that league is loaded, this is impossible to rate without seeing the other squads really.

The draft was auction format. We had $260, I paid in the $30s for each of those 4. Again, my strategy was that there's a lot of depth when it comes to 1B, 3B, and OF, but not a lot of depth at 2B, SS, C, and RP. So, I tried to outbid others to get elite players at each of those 4 positions. As for my SPs, my goal was to get at least 1 elite SP and I somehow ended up with 2 of them. |

However, I disagree with 3B. It's the most deceptive position to me, because there really isn't "depth". It drops off heavily after the top few guys. The rest of your stuff looks good, but again, with only 8 Teams its kind of tough to gauge. |

I had my other league's draft last Wednesday, curious to hear any comments, as I'm not exactly seasoned at Baseball drafts, but I felt good.
We have a 12-team league, and you'll notice we have "pure" position OF slots, so position plays a role out there....and RP is bolstered a bit in the scoring system, but I still think I'll need another SP. C - Chris Iannetta 1B - Mark Teixeira 2B - Brian Roberts 3B - Aramis Ramirez SS - Jimmy Rollins LF - Raul Ibanez CF - Chris Young RF - Jermaine Dye IF - Jason Giambi OF - Xavier Nady BN - Adam LaRoche BN - Troy Glaus BN - Randy Winn BN - Shin-Soo Choo SP - James Shields SP - Daisuke Matsuzaka SP - Ted Lilly SP - Hiroki Kuroda RP - Brad Lidge RP - Joakim Soria RP - Joel Hanrahan RP - Hong-Chih Kuo P - JJ Putz P - Juan Cruz BN - Jered Weaver |

Yea the innings min. is 7. Good thing is every year i do fan football, baseball, and sometimes basketball. But i've always been really good at putting together patchwork teams due to injuries, or just bad depth to start with. There are a few sp's that i'm thinkin about that are available. Just waiting to see who starts the season off better of the pitchers i have in mind. just to name a few: SP - Edwin Jackson (Det.)
SP - Ubaldo Jiminez (Col.) SP - Jered Weaver (LAA) SP - Nick Blackburn (Min.) |

You got the top SS, top 2nd baseman, two of the top three starting pitchers, the top closer...one of the best 3rd baseman (as long as he's healthy), a top five catcher...a 3rd or 4th round pick in Beltran to go along with two top 100 picks in Damon and Victorino who are solid in a bunch of different offensive categories...scored two more quality closers and a few sleepers...I'd be curious to see what some of those idiots were bidding on.

In this league, can the OF's have multi field eligibility? For instance, is Ichiro eligible as RF and CF? |

I play in a 20 team keeper auction league and each team rosters 35 players. Pickings are mighty slim when we get down to the $1 bids. I'm curious.....in a league that small, what did Pujols go for? What did you pay for Ramirez? |
