Strained hammy...
Strained my hammy a few weeks ago. Still gives me fits. Any recommendations for rehab other than self medicating with painkillers so I can still be active?

Shit. This just happened to me yesterday. Although, I'm not sure it's my hammy. It's behind my knee at the top of my calf and the bottom of my hammy. Please God don't let it be a ligament injury.

Worst thing you can do, speaking from experience on this one.

You're going to have to make a decision - be miserable and active, or take a few weeks and really rest it.

Hamstring and groin pulls will not heal without proper rest. I found out the hard way...

As for the injury, I've had one and you have to stay the fugg off of it or it will NEVER heal. Ever. As far as activity, biking didn't hurt mine much, but swimming did unless I only used my arms. But you have to stay off of it.

I will rest once December is here. Until then I guess I will just continue to support the families of the makers of Advil and Percocet.
