Farve can still make all the nfl throws. Montana never did have a great arm but he really had below average one when he came here

No, and here is why, Montana did not make the mistakes. (costly interceptions)
Didn't Farve chuck it to the other team on the first play of OT last year in the playoffs?

I'd say Favre probably has as much left in the tank as Joe did.
Favre's ability isn't the question. When we signed Montana we had a playoff caliber team. He nearly led us to the promised land. By the time the Chiefs are ready for the playoffs, Favre will be done. Period. Bringing him here would simply be a waste of time and whatever draft pick/picks it cost us to get him. The End. I really wish people would stop talking about this. It's reeruned. |

I didn't ask about bringing Favre to KC. The question was simple and to the point.

in 93 Montana missed 5 games(God Bless Dave Krieg) in 94 he missed 2 games. At least Favre doesnt miss games.

Sometimes I think many people on CP can't read and comprehend English or have an attention span problem.
Is Favre, right now, today, in 2008, regardless of what team he plays for, a better QB, with better talents and better physical tools and better decision making, than Montana was in 1993? It's very simple. My answer is yes he is.
