UFC 92: Best MMA card this year

Possibly the best card of the year, Rampage vs Silva, Mir vs Nog and Griffin vs Evans. Those are all potentially great fights. I am looking forward to seeing Big Nog beat Mir and I hope Forrest beats Rashad. As far as Rampage Silva, they are both beasts and it should be a great fight.

I don't think NOG will beat Mir. If Mir can hold up to the beat down Lesnar gave him, and still was able to submit him, I think he will handle NOG. I think the Rashad vs Forrest fight is going to be great. I also hope Wandy beats Rampage.

Unless Mir has made some drastic training changes for this fight I believe he'll gas by the third round. He has a history of suspect cardio and Nog has never been finished. I don't see Mir being the first to get it done.

Do you have a front runner in the Forrest v Rashad fight?

I think it's the first one this year that we're going to buy.

I'm more eager for BJ Penn to fight in January.
Wanna see if he's going to end up fighting Florian.

I love BJ, it would be awesome to see him hold the belts at 170 and 155. If GSP is at his best BJ probably won't beat him but it would be nice. As long as he beats Florian when they fight.

I like talking with you, your not annoying and know your stuff. Very good point on NOG, I mean when he fought Pride, Fedor was beating the crap out of him and couldn't finish him. Shoot even Bob Sapp couldn't finish him, he (Sapp) ended up getting Sub'd. I like Forrest a lot, I have watched both he and Rashad come up through the UFC show, and earn their spots in this fight. I think Rashad is a load to handle, I would give the upper hand to Forrest, the guy is tough as nails. I think if Forrest comes in healthy, and fights his best he will take Rashad. Rashad is no slouch either, KO'd Liddell, and got the decision against Bisping. Forrest though has fought the tougher competition, he beat Shogun, and took the belt from Rampage, who many considered the best in the biz. I look for Forrest to win this fight.

Oh man, I think BJ could take GSP. BJ maybe the best BJJ practicioner in America. I think GSP at his best and BJ at his best, BJ would beat him. GSP is a freak, but so is BJ. I think either BJ or GSP would beat Florian.

**On a side note, I watched the Guida vs Huerta fight again on Spike, and I am still pissed Guida got cheated out of that fight, even though it's been a long time since that fight. I also think Matt Hamill got cheated on the decision when he fought Bisping in London, which also was a while ago.

Thank you very much. I was thinking the same thing about Rashad v Forrest. Even though Rashad knocked out Liddel, Forrest has much tighter (not better) stand up than Chuck. It's going to be hard for Rashad to knock him out with the stick and move style of Forrest and the wide looping style of Rashad.

Did you see that Diego Sanchez is going to 155 in February to fight Joe Stephenson. Diego is going to be a real handful at 155.

Hamil definately got jobbed in that fight.

I didn't hear that Diego was going down, that is really interesting. Diego really is a nightmare, and I think he would handle Joe in a fight. Diego is a beast and a warrior, he never quits, and he also has some very improved stand up. He seems to get a lot better each fight.

Totally counting on BJ beating GSP. I love his Jui Jitsu, but more impressive is how he can take a hit and make it look like it was a butterfly kiss.

I think BJ beats Florian. I think Florian knows it. What does he call BJ? The master?

I have Nog, Rashad, and Rampage winning.

I don't think Mir is good enough on his feet to beat Nog. It should be a good fight for the first 5 minutes though.

Forrest vs Rashad is a toss-up, and in such cases, I would bet on the better wrestler. So I have Rashad by a slight edge. Really, it will come down to who makes the big mistake first.

I think Rampage is due for retribution. Hopefully, his mental issues are behind him and he is focusing on the fight. Otherwise, it might be another Wandy rape-choke highlight. Could be Silva just has his number. It happens.

I don't think anyone beats Penn at 155. The guy is easily the best lightweight fighter in the world when he is focused and not moving up weight classes. That said, since Dream is dead, the UFC could do themselves a huge favor and try to get Alvarez or Hansen to fight stateside. I hear Caol Uno is already on his way.

The rumor mill had Eddie Alvarez fighting at the next Affliction show, I don't know anything about Hansen yet but he is super tough and makes his fights very entertaining. I hadn't heard about Uno but that's awesome!
