I saw another video from this exact same airport where a 747 (I think) was taking off from that spot, going the other way, and blew everything behind it to hell.

We were in St. Maarten in January. That's probably Maho Beach. We didn't go there, but we heard about it, and there are t-shirts everywhere. It's a big tourist thing to go watch the planes land and take off there.

Wow, somebody should make a bunch of soothing natural sounds recorded from that beach. 45 minutes into your 'session' you shit your pants and fall off the bed.

That's such a weird clash... you see this pristine seascape and sandy beach, and then you pan slightly to the right to see a road, a chain link fence and an airstrip.

The runway is a super short one, about a quarter mile shorter than most airstrips 747s land on. So, they come in a lot lower than they would in normal places, to make sure they will have enough space to land.
And the people aren't supposed to be there. They put up signs. |
