TO is Truly Delusional
Is he really the only person who didn't see it coming?

I admit I'm interested in seeing how soon TO gets pissy with Trent Edwards and how soon it all crashes and burns. That's some good entertainment.

The Dallas Cowboys might have moved on from Terrell Owens, but it seems the controversial wide receiver hasn't done the same.
More on T.O. My guy: T.O. is the NFL's ultimate heel. So how does he keep getting paid? Mark Kriegel says it's all about having the right guy in his corner. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Owens, now with the Buffalo Bills, said he felt "blindsided" by the Cowboys' decision earlier this month to release him, according to reports citing a television interview he did with a Canadian station. The move surprised many because it came just one season after Dallas gave him a four-year, $34 million extension that included a $12 million bonus. "You hear all the speculation, and you talk to the owner of the team, and he reassures you, you're not going anywhere and then, out of left field ... you get blindsided," Canada's Globe and Mail reported Owens saying during the interview, to be broadcast this weekend on Rogers Sportsnet. The interview was set to air Saturday night. Owens, 35, was productive in his three seasons with the Cowboys. He had 235 receptions and 38 touchdowns. However, his off-the-field distractions might have sealed his fate with Dallas. He had run-ins with coaches and squabbles with star quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten. "I know wholeheartedly he (Jerry Jones) wanted me there," Owens said on the broadcast, the Globe and Mail reported. "There were some people I know who got in his ear that pressured him to make that decision. For that, it's sad. You let two or three people conspire to get me out of the situation." The newspaper said Owens hinted that Jones' son Stephen was one of the people who wanted him off the team. |
