Not BS at all. You ever buy one of those loaves of bread with all the crusts cut off of it? They have an inner wrapping to protect the bread from drying out. The crust absolutely keeps it fresher.

If my grill was an inch wider, then all we'd have to cut off is one bar on each piece. But it's not, so the side is going to have to be cut on at least one of them. I'll get them marked and bring them by sometime this week.
