Chiefs promote Ricky Price, cut Charlie Anderson

The Kansas City Chiefs promoted safety Ricky Price(notes) from the practice squad to the active roster, cutting linebacker Charlie Anderson(notes) to create a roster spot for him.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder spent the first eight games of the season on the Chiefs' practice squad.

He appeared in two games for Kansas City a year ago after joining the club as an undrafted rookie free agent.

He saw action in 49 games at Oklahoma State, recording 159 tackles, three sacks an interception and 11 pass deflections.

Anderson played in two games with Kansas City this year after signing with the club as a free agent after being cut by the Miami Dolphins.

With the donks pass-only O I guess they need the depth in the secondary. What a better way to make a name with the team (good or bad) with an undrafted FA with a couple years of learning time.
