Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson’s latest injury is expected to knock him out of action for “at least” two weeks, according to NBC’s Andrea Kremer.

Kremer reports that Jackson tweaked his groin (not his other calf) in the practices leading up to Sunday’s game, which helped cause his calf injury on Sunday night. The Chargers did not disclose the problem on the injury report. Jackson underwent an MRI Monday morning, which confirmed the calf injury.

Chargers coach Norv Turner admitted that Jackson was unlikely to play this week against the Raiders.

I was talking to Buck about this last night.

Apparently Jackson may only have played in that game last night so he can satisfy the requirement to get paid this season.

Buck doesn't think Jackson will be anything more than a decoy if he plays against KC.

That is one banged up WR corps.

Rivers is quickly turning into Manning the way he is turning chicken shit into chicken salad.

Let's hope he fails at the end of the game against us the way he did in week one though.

I had to pick him up on fantasy out of a last minute need two weeks ago; sounds like its a legit injury, so we'll see if he makes it back for KC.

I'm curious to see if Gates is going to be banged up still.... and their rookie rb.
