Life Did you go to your senior prom?

Just wondering. Yes, no, stag, date, whatever. Tell me about your senior prom experience.

I didn't go. I didn't know how to dance, didn't know how to learn how to dance, didn't have a girlfriend, didn't have the money for a tux and corsage, didn't have any social skills, didn't drink, and lived in a small town where an 18 year-old couldn't secretly buy condoms. Other than that, I would've gone.

I broke up with the girls I was dating the week before both my junior and senior years. Ended up getting drunk and playing D&D with the nerds.

Yes, I went. It was similar to other dance experiences in high school, which were all pretty fun. Mostly girls fast dance, or you slow dance. But mostly you go from table to table talking to people. At my school, there was a huge after-prom party that everyone was required to go to, and you won prizes, bowled and saw people get hypnotized, which is always great entertainment.

And then at 4am, you went to Perkins, and then you were encouraged to go to Mass the next morning, but each time I uh, accidently slept through that.

I went to my junior and senior prom because my girlfriend made me both years...I think prom and homecoming really lost their stigma when kids started having sex at younger ages and parents became more liberal about it...

so now no one uses prom as an excuse to have sex...people just have sex on a Monday after school for the hell of it...

so why do guys want to go to prom when they can just get a BJ or some anal out in the parking lot during lunch break?

yep we had that same after-prom party...I had mono my junior year so I felt like a train wreck the entire damn time...

seriously...I went to school on Friday (required to be at school if you wanted to go to the prom) and felt like death...went to the prom (a weekend event) and wanted to die...

and then spent my 17th birthday in the hospital a few days later because no one knew what the **** was wrong with me and finally they figured out I had mono...

worst sickness I've ever had but got to miss school for a month so lots of Jerry Springer

I had just recovered from Mono+Bronchitis and went. I was on meds the whole time. I was sick for like a month and had lost like 20 lbs. So, pale white, 6ft tall and probably 140.

I looked like the undead.

The after Senior Prom party was more fun. We'd go down the Cape the next day and rampage a rented cottage among other things.

I got shot down by every girl I asked, but I drove by that evening just to see it and got run off the road by a limo that ran a stop sign. I was so pissed off, I spun around back onto the road and drove right back home. Maybe I should have done one of those Chuck Norris flying kicks through the limo windshield.
