I don't need a router. Just a USB or PCI card for my computer. Sorry, I wasn't clear.

This one seems to be getting great reviews for a no name device.

Ah, sorry home slice... misread. Your first post was clear, I misread.
Really, one wireless adapter is almost the same as the other for basic home computing. That said... when it comes to the cheapies I have always had good luck with trendnet stuff. |

Related question: Do USB wireless adapters work as well as internal cards?

The answer is of course not no, but the real question is, do they work well enough fro most people? ehhh....probably....

I just put this one in a old pc that I set up in my work shop to goof around on.Took me 5 min to install and get connected to my network. No complaints so far.I have it about 75ft away from my router and it gets 85-90% signal strength, and it would probably do better if It wasn't sitting on the floor.Anyway it works great so far, good luck.
