You know, I hadn't actually considered that this might be why I'm OK with this trade. My brother is a 49ers fan, so I started watching all their games last year when it was clear that the Chiefs weren't worth my time. Alex isn't a bad QB - he's just not. He's not very exciting, but I find the comparisons to Cassel to be pretty laughable.
