that's total points, not just offensive scoring. so, the defense and special teams has a good bit of that total.

and even if it's not a good bit, the defense sure did set up the offense in a good position to get some points off turnovers numerous times. i don't know if i would use that stat as an argument for how good our offense is.

That was listed under Offense. I am not saying you are wrong just saying when you go to Offense and sort by total points we are at #8.

While true, that also skews the numbers because the O is never given a CHANCE to make those plays because the D or SP scores and gives the ball back to the opposing O. We should have a metric that measures points per possession and maybe even gives a bonus for the O extending time of possession.

No clue what we would like like with that metric but it would certainly be more accurate than just total team points or total points by the O.

25th in yards per play
20th in first downs
27th in third down conversion percentage
28th in yards per attempt
23rd in passing first downs
