Would you trade Chase Daniel?

Imagine that some team like the Titans came calling and wanted Daniel in exchange for a DB. Not a superstar DB but someone who is a noticeable upgrade to our roster.

Would you pull the trigger?

Let's imagine they came calling with an offer of 1 cooler of Gatorade.

I still say yes.

There are teams where he'd be an upgrade, especially teams with young QBs that still need a year on the bench.

He has value.. as limited as it may be.

If Chase Daniel isn't cut by week 1, I'll be extremely disappointed.

You've got a QB in Bray who Andy says is "the most improved player in camp" and a cheaper/younger version of Daniel in Murray. 47 pass attempts worth of experience is not something you desperately need to make room for on the roster.

Why not?

He isn't a long term solution and I don't see us winning anything significant with him. If Alex Smith goes down, we are not going anywhere so I'd rather let someone like Bray or Murray lose out for us and get a better draft pick while he learns on the job.

The only 2 reasons I can see wanting to keep him is #1 you honestly think we can win a SB with him or #2 you are ok with winning "enough" games but not having a true shot a the title.

I would, in a heartbeat, say "absolutely!"

Then I'd rush to the bedroom of my home and start jackin' it with "I Don't Want You Back" by Eamon blaring in the speakers.
