Anyone else annoyed about our wins

Anyone else annoyed that we beat New England and Seattle both holding the #1 seeds in the AFC/NFC, yet we aren't going to the playoffs?

Sticks and stones since we lost to the titans and raiders as well, it just seems lame..

No worrys my thread starts are terrible so I will understand "would read again" and "stfu"

This is a team that folds down the stretch. Once is an anomaly, twice is a trend.

Well, that's what happens when you're led by gutless pussies. The collapse is inevitable.

The Chiefs always beat good teams when the stakes are relatively low.

No. They were fun and I enjoyed them. I also enjoyed some of the losses
Because the game was fun to watch. Isn't that the goal of watching sports?

That is the goal of watching sports if you root for a franchise that has no realistic hope of ever being a Champion. So, yes.

No doubt I enjoyed it too, The goal for most imo for football though is to win a lot, get homefield advantage and win the big cup..

So it just annoys me that we beat such quality teams in the NFL straight up, and then we are the ones watching them not only in the playoffs but hold the best records and seeds in the playoffs in not only one conference but both!

No, that's been their body of work for decades, aspiring to be the best of the pretenders, which means they're going to knock off a good team every once in a while, usually earlier than later.

And of course the Patriots team that was up 10-9 on the Raiders in the 4th quarter and then got the shit beat out of them at Arrowhead the next weekend and was 2-2 wasn't playing at the same level as the team that's averaged 35ppg and has only lost at Green Bay since.

I never get annoyed by a Chiefs win. I get annoyed when they lose games they should've won like Tennessee, San Fran, and the Raiders. I get severely annoyed when they lose to San Diego. They better win the next one.

Nah. Chiefs are a mediocre NFL team. Capable of beating good teams and capable of losing to bad ones. The teams themselves are inconsequencial. If the Chiefs played a 16 game schedule against a rotation of the Packers, Patriots, Jags, and Raiders they would probably still be 8-8

We overachieved.

This team ended up far better than I ever figured we would.

There are plenty of negatives to throw Reid's way but he's held this team together. We have more scrubs than studs at this point...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

It's the NFL, some teams are perfectly built to destroy other teams, despite their shortcomings, and yet incredibly vulnerable to lose to sub par teams

Parity!
