Gase to Bears

Quote:
Denver Post

Adam Gase joins John Fox with Bears as offensive coordinator

By Mike Klis The Denver Post

Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 - 5:58 p.m.

Adam Gase, Broncos offensive coordinator on the sidelines in the third quarter. The Denver Broncos played the San Diego Chargers at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver on October 23, 2014. ( John Leyba, The Denver Post )

Adam Gase had one more last-minute rally in him. He needed his old friend John Fox to give him a major assist, but Gase pulled it off.

Fox, the new head coach of the Chicago Bears, has made Gase his new offensive coordinator, according to an NFL source.

Fox and Gase held the same positions last season for the Broncos. When Fox parted ways last week with the Broncos and Denver replaced him with offensive-minded coach Gary Kubiak, Gase was out of a job.

It wasn't for a lack of trying. Gase interviewed with five teams for their head coaching openings this offseason, including twice with the San Francisco 49ers and once with the Broncos. He didn't get any of them.

Gase then started interviewing for offensive coordinator positions with Jacksonville and Baltimore. Those positions were filled without him.

watch Peyton's 'effort' after he throws a pick of fumbles.
dude gives zero ****s and pretty much just heads to the sideline instead of trying to tackle or even attempt to recover a ball.

And yell at his linemen or WR because they didn't block long enough or get open.

I dont blame him, look what happened to wilson on the turnover. You make a play on the ball or near it your fairgame.

personally one wussy rule they should have is qbs can declare themselves bef9re the game that they will not go after fumbles and ints. Basically those pussies take a knee. If they dont 15 yd penalty.

Yup. It's open season at that point. I guess back in the day defenses would sometimes go after the QB regardless of whether he was making a play or not, but you can't really get away with that now. But can you imagine being the guy who got tackled by Peyton Manning after a pick? You'd never live that down.
