I just want to thank Tennessee for doing what they did to us.

B) Most of us wanted / want Mahomes to be our starter next year.

C) Alex had to just not collapse and throw 0 TD's and 4 INT's to really hurt his trade value

D) We should be able to get a third, but maybe a second and you never know if things get crazy a 1st for the guy, any of them I would take.

E) Things can change very fast in football, our D could look much diferent than this year and be much, much better.

Footnote: I have no idea how we are going to do next year but I don't care, I want to see a guy we drafted come in and take on the team and see what he can do. I saw his make some throws that I have never seen another QB make and because of that its going to get me to buy season tickets next year and really start supporting the Chiefs again.

Again, I know the Titans are awful and they will lose next week 55-7 but it doesn't take away the fact that hey helped us do exactly what most fans wanted. Thank you Tennessee!!!

I would have been much more satisfied if we had eeked out a win and lost convincingly in the next round. Losing to a pathetic, uncool team like Tennessee just does not have a positive spin.

Agreed. Except with the first part of A. There was no "deep down" necessary. Only the homerist of homer, Alex ball licker, "Hey Clark please take more of my money for nothing" fan thought this team had any chance to even make it out of next week, let alone the Super Bowl.

I agree if your convincing the fan base. But it's delusional Clark Hunt and delusional Andy Reid that have to be convinced it proves nothing. It would be 10000% Chiefs for them to win this game, get crushed in Foxboro, and then have Andy and friends decide that since Alex delivered the first home playoff win (a pointless stat)in decades, he stays next year. Hell, I'm not totally convinced he won't try to pull that shit anyway. A win would have definitely pulled that into the realm of very possible/likely

They gave up too much for Mahomes. Only way he doesn't start next year is if he just looks horrible in practice. Don't expect that to happen.

All today accomplished was adding another horrible loss to the Chiefs playoff resume.

I'm convinced. He gave up too much for Mahomes. He loves Mahomes. Alex was gonna have to light it up this postseason and he didn't

This loss makes us a bigger joke and bites at the confidence of our players in big games in the future. Hopefully Mahomes can counter this blow.

Losses like this are bad. A straight up 30-22 loss in which we never led would have been more acceptable

Those are pretty good points, especially if Sutton is in fact fired finally.

Some teams like this just need to make a few tweaks to get over the hump. Clearly what they've been doing isn't working, and an uncomfortable loss like this should force changes.

I agree, better to see the WWNFL refs take away the greatest sack / strip / return in postseason history NOW, and lie about forward progress to negate our right to challenge and gift our opponent free points NOW...than get my hopes up, and waste a couple more weekend days in the coming weeks seeing us do it against NE or Pitt.

Now I get go back to living life, instead of entertaining false hope for a fake team that I know now had no real chance of succeeding in the modern pro wrestling league.

I can’t see any positive to this loss as I also believe Mahomes was starting next year regardless. This is just another addition to the stat of home playoff losses that does nothing but further reduce any teams concern about playing here. I believe teams losing before they even play in Allen Fieldhouse is a real and valuable thing. The Chiefs have nothing of the sort.
