If we're going to add a WR, who should it be?

So Veach said it pretty clearly, we're in the market for a WR that can keep up with Mahomes' talent. Forget whether or not you agree that we should be picking up a WR... tell me who your guy would be if you HAVE to add a WR via FA or draft???

Some really interesting names out there that I like...

Watkins - Yeah I know, injury history. But he could potentially come fairly cheap on a prove it deal and has massive potential.

Allen Robinson - See above Watkins description, add some height and from what I can tell a better attitude. That 1,400 yard season with Bortles has me wondering what he can do with Mahomes.

Dez - Some saying Cowboys will have to move on from Dez. We have Kelce already, but a tall, big, redzone threat WR with crazy talent on the outside could be just what this offense needs to be complete.

Landry - We don't have a sure-handed, 100+ receptions per year, WR on this team. Hill is a playmaker, not a lunchbox and pail kind of WR. Landry could be what Maclin was supposed to be.

Paul Richardson - A tier or two down from the above receivers, but a guy that seems like he's ready for a bigger role. He could shine considering we don't actually need a true #1 WR, we already have Kelce and Hill.

How bout the rest of CP, who would you be interested in adding?

Just groom Robinson - focus on the lines - there's zero reason Robinson can't blossom like a choice orchid - he has the tools.

What about Kemp or Dieter or whoever the hell is on the PS? Wasn't Mahomes connecting with those guys? Conley should come back too.

I was reviewing Robinson's numbers at Florida - seems 2014 was his best season - his numbers (rec yrds) dropped of substatially in 2015 - I wonder if he was hurt for part of that season? Looking at their depth chart there wasn't a plethera of quality WR's back then, there. Dunno.

Someone low cost, like Jordan Matthews or Kendall Wright, and then another deep threat, probably draft whoever impresses in the combine with a mid round pick (only option I know of in FA is Gabriel, not sure about that)

I've had a good feeling about Robinson since the Denver game tbh. Yes, I know he dropped a few catches against Den but It was the first game that he had more than the one or two targets he was usually getting and amongst the drops he did make some very decent catches (the great throw from Mahomes In the two-minute drive being one of them) and had his CB on toast several times during the game too. Then came the Titans game and to me he looked very good. He caught four balls right before the half and topped it off with his first TD. I think it could be a huge season for Robinson If he works hard this offseason and does well In preseason.

As for who the WR could be. In free agency I'm not expecting us to empty the bank on individuals like Landry, so IMO I think we'd be looking at the likes of Moncrief, Gabriel, Richardson, Watkins, Matthews, Lee and depending on how his health is, Brown aswell.

In the draft I've got my eye on Coutee, Hamilton, Callaway, Chark, Pettis, Washington and Gallup. If we do draft a WR then I'd be surprised If it wasn't one of these guys tbh.
