We'll take a disgruntled TD off their hands, and let him run all over Denver twice a year.

Terrell Davis is injury prone.

He'll never be the same back that he was before the knee injury either.

No way do I want to see him KC.

They only free agent back I'd like to see in KC is Garner. If we can't sign him, we need to draft one.

Bob Dole isn't sure he's "injury prone," but he's definitely suffered some injuries.

If TD leaves Denver disgruntled, he'll d@mned sure have some motivation to prove them wrong for doubting him, though. Nothing quite like a highly motivated professional athlete...

IMO, Davis playing all those extra games in the post season for those three or four seasons caught up with him.

Didn't he set the record for carries in a season when he rushed for 2000 yards in 98?

He may have only played four years in this league. But with all the extra carries it's probably more like about six years or possibly even seven.

In Terrell's first four years in the NFL [before the injury], he carried the ball 1343 times.

I'm pretty sure that is close to the NFL record. It's right up there.

That doesn't count postseason either. I think he's had close to 600 postseason carries.

He's a classy guy, and very fortunate. Reached pinnacles most backs dream about. If he is done, he really can't complain, there isn't much more for him to accomplish.

If TD was to take the rest of this year off and rehabilitate his leg, then go FA, contrary to what anyone else might infer, I would grab him in a heartbeat.

Nothing would be finer that watching him shred the Broncos after doing so much for them.

BUT, having said that, I believe that the TD and the Broncs will patch things up and he will stay put.

Cannibal:

Given our past history of not pursuing the offensive threat we need I doubt that Garner will be a Chief. I would love to see that, but I think, for some reason the Chiefs think that this present band of misfit RB will carry us to the Promised Land. I think they will lead us to the Sahara Desert.

So if TD has carried the ball too many times, he'd fit perfectly with the Chiefs...he'd get 1 carry for 10 yards and then put on the bench the rest of the game...it would extend his career by years...
