For a pair of nice hands, Carl should check out Wetnight. Chitown, help me out on this guy but he's not bad, right? I know we picked up several TE's in the offseason but Wetnight could be an upgrade....

Phil -
Wetnight was a Wannstadt guy. He's got excellent hands, but has been prone to injury , smallish and little speed. He's a great clutch receiver, but not sure he does much in the likes of an upgrade (we need our second TE to block). Chicago dumped him in favor of their 2 young guys - John Allred and Alonzo Mayes. Both big ?'s in my opinion. |
