Be sure to ask permission to "buzz the tower".
This is kind of personal, but are you overweight? Losing some pounds can help open that airway and reduce the need for the fighter pilot snorkel. |

So you stop breathing about once per minute? Yikes.

I should be about 190 ish and I am at 220 ish so yes about 25-30 over. Yes it is part of the problem, I have zero motivation or energy to go work out or run. Tried to get into a zero weight class. I was gassed every night after the first 15 minutes. Couldn't continue. Felt pathetic, bad head aches, acid reflux, could hardly raise my arms... Just ZERO energy. They say that zero sleep is tied to weight gain/loss. If I can get a good nights sleep the brown fat cells have a chance to work AND I will feel like running. I miss running. |

My pops had one of these. He and mom slept in separate rooms for decades. Honestly... is that the worst thing? Buzz the tower, then go to your respective rooms. It's like being married AND single. Dy-no-mite.

You misunderstood. And so will she. "buzz the tower" is what Tom Cruise would ask the flight commander in the movie Top Gun.
People who own CPAP machines wear a similar get up as fighter pilots. Hence the "Buzz the tower" comment. |

This doesn't look so bad. And it will absolutely do a world of good, as I've seen patients who feel great once they get into the habit of using it. |

Father-in-law has used for years. Mother-in-law sleeps in another room. Pay attention to this buddy, your chances of a heart attack are much greater and believe me, that isn't a fun ride in the ambulance.

I take mine whenever I travel, no exceptions. The soft "sleepweaver" mask was the key for me, as I hated the mask it came with as it made me claustrophobic. Oh, and for those that say they are noisy, if the mask is properly adjusted, they are very quiet. Also, I no longer snore, so there is that. |

the smaller 'mobile' ones are pretty much just as loud as the full size.
my mom got a super long air tube so that she can stick the machine itself in bathroom and closed the door. Then just runs the tube over to the bed. Reduces the airflow some but makes a huge difference on the noise.
