Pre-Camp Optimism Poll

Will camp getting ready to kick-off I'm interested in how the optimism meter is running around here. So assuming no major injuries what will be Chiefs record be in 2013?

1. 0-4
2. 5-7
3. 8
4. 9
5. 10
6. 11
7. 12-16

I'm going with 10.

4 of the first seven we win....OAK, Jax, Ten should be wins and then we find 1 win from NYG, Dal, Phi, & Hou
The next 9, 6 should be victories, but I'm assuming we stumble on 1 of those so another 5 victories. (Browns, Bill, Raiders, 2x Chargers, Colts).
I think we can split with the Donkies, but lose to Redskins, which makes 10 wins.

With all of their offseason moves, 10-6 should be their floor, but I could see 9-7 because I do expect them to start slow because of all of the changes.

The AFC West is ripe for the taking, especially with Von Miller's suspension.

8-8. And they'll be thisclose to a playoff spot; will probably get one. The AFC as a whole is going to suck big sloth balls this year, IMO.

Completely agree. They almost got us a win against baltimore despite cassel casseling himself and we didn't really get worse anywhere.

The talent is there, but I'm curious about Reid's work on the defensive side. Those perennial playoff contending eagles always had an excellent defensive rep. On the other hand, I remember reading that it wasn't really Reid's doing, so am curious to see how we look there. Still I don't expect our D to cassel the bed as much as I do expect Alex Smith to.

I'm going to update my 9-7, possible 10-6 to a definite 10-6 and heres why...

If Matt Cassel can take a much lesser overall team, with lesser qualified coaching and management, into one of the weakest schedules in the NFL in 2010 to 10-6... then i see no reason at all why this new and much improved group cant atleast do the same with the same type of schedule.

10-6 it is.

Yep pretty funny "Chiefs" fans pedicting a 4 win season. We should sweep faders and Chargers- so I guess no wins the rest of the year?
